Install the filter cartridge:
1. Note: The filter must be firmly pushed into the receiver and turned until it locks in place. If the filter is not properly locked, the water will not flow.
2. Cut off the water supply
3. Twist the old filter a quarter turn counterclockwise, and then remove it
4. Insert the new filter into the refrigerator receiver, push the new filter in until it stops
5. Rotate the filter a quarter turn clockwise
6. Reset the water filter status display
7. Rinse the filter with 3-4 gallons of water until the water drains. With the exhaust of air in the system, some noise is not uncommon.
8. If the filter has been left for a few days, please rinse the filter with a quart of water to remove the stale water in the refrigerator water pipe
The filter element should be replaced every six months
